Originally from China, Keru has studied the piano in America since 2011, ultimately receiving a Bachelors of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and a Masters of Music from The Juilliard School. Keru is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, and has extensive teaching experience in NYC. Keru's pedagogical specialty is the Suzuki method
